After the success achieved in 2024, we are proud to announce that the Innovation Smart District (ISD) will host and organize Eight venues Of the Startup World Cup in 2025. This exciting challenge positions us at the epicenter of innovation and disruption, reflecting the core of our DNA.
La Startup World Cup, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, is a global competition that brings together the most promising startups, venture capital investors, entrepreneurs and CEOs of world-class technology. With more than 100 regional competitions across six continents, it culminates in a Grand Final in San Francisco, where startups compete for an investment prize of $1 million.
By hosting these eight locations, ISD becomes a direct bridge between our community and the world's most innovative startups. Not only does this strengthen our local ecosystem, but it also provides our entrepreneurs with the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, potential partners and investors globally.
Each regional event will offer:
- Pitch Competencies: Where startups will present their ideas to a panel of expert judges.
- Corporate Seminars: Focused on innovation best practices and strategies to maximize return within the startup ecosystem.
- Networking opportunities: To connect with other entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.
The first of these regional competitions is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025 in Kumamoto, Japan. This event will bring together influential venture capitalists and global corporations, creating unparalleled networking opportunities.
